August Newsletter

Folks,

With the month or so we have all endured, there is not much to put in a newsletter. I hope everyone survived Frances as well as Charlie. It's been a busy time in a lot of ways but not for charter business. I need to get busy, quickly.

Our next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September 30, 2004 at 1930 hours at Cleveland Heights Country Club. I am attempting to line up a speaker who can give us an update on general waterways condition, but may not be successful. If you know someone who might be a good speaker for our next meeting, let me know. We will definitely finalize plans for the next social. I suspect we can all use it.

I am today sending a letter to Marine Supply concerning our discussion from the last meeting.

As for the fall  houseboat trip, situations beyond my control are forcing that trip in the direction of a camping trip instead of a houseboat. I will put together the houseboat trip for the spring of 2005. I apologize for the change. We can make it a Chokoloskee to Flamingo trip if you are interested.

On another note, check out the website (www.naturalhighadventures.net). Our old friend and club diva, LeeAnn is now managing it for me and it looks great. If you have pictures you would like to see posted, get them to me or to LeeAnn. She is now offering this service to anyone who may need a website developed.

See you all on the 30th.

May the sun shine bright upon your face and your fishing lines always be tight.
